Hey...what is everyone's feeling between home-made toys and purchased toys? i haven't gotten an oppertunity to buy any toys but rather shortly i will be able to get one if i want.

Since it will be my first, anyone find that a good home-made toy is just as good? It may just be my paranoia but i would have to go to great extent to figure out how to buy it AS WELL as hide it. So before i make the effort i wanted some input! Thanks!

Privacy and discreetness is always in everyone's mind (other than those who want to be caught or are exhibitionists). Some do get more excitement  from the possibility of being discovered "during". I know that you are not, at least yet in that mode. Remember, privacy is very open to the curious, so unless there is an understanding among those with whom you live with that "your stuff" is safe from prying eyes, noseyness, or just plain accidental discovery, it is human nature to snoop.
If you can hide it, it still will be seen at some time or other by accident or by design. However, the ownership of these sexual devices is entirely normal, so that if somebody is going to sneak into your private matters, that's their problem of how to deal with it. they may even want to borrow it. As a youngster at home, I would hope that those concerned and would pose a threat to such discovery, would understand the bodily needs of a young woman. Obviously, your personal habits should not be advertised, but you should be able to have your privacy, but don't be deluded into thinking that your stash won't be discovered.

IMHO you can make great penetration toys yourself but if you want something that vibrates go for commercial toys. Cell phones are full of common bacteria and have weak vibrations.
You can find anything on-line and have it shipped discretely. Then you can find a good hiding place for your toy. It should be near the spot where you usually masturbate. Shoebox with a piece of cloth in it placed under the bed is ideal.

My wife and I have tried several toys...some good, some not. The Hitachi magic wand is something all women should have. It is easily the best thing we've ever tried, especially for the money.

I actually bit the bullet and picked up one of the new Fleshlight "Sex in a Can" toys recently.  It's pretty friggin cool (though nothing like the real thing), and it's a lot more compact than the regular ones are.  The problem is, the Can itself is a lot less discreet than the regular Fleshlight.  I've found a good spot to hide it, but there's always the chance someone will see the nude woman on the side and know that something is fishy.  Granted if someone is snooping and finds it, they probably aren't the kind of person I'd want in my house.  But the fear is always there.  I don't see it as taboo, but friends and family might.

As far as shipping, the box it was sent in was so discreet, that you would never know who it was from.  Plain cardboard, ILF LLC as the return addressee, and no mention of the contents anywhere on the box.
